The Washington State Department of Commerce is now accepting applications for Capital Project Capacity Grants for Non-Profit Organizations.
Our Community Care Hub provides resources for community based organizations and their workforce to access the support and training they need to serve. But sometimes, we need to come together to share our best thinking about how to build capacity across the region.

Community Sponsorship
Better Health Together (BHT) supports community based organizations in our region by sponsoring events and community engagement activities that promote community wellness and elevate community voices in Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Lincoln, and Adams counties and the Reservations of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, the Spokane Tribe of Indians, and the Colville Confederated Tribes.
Grant Writing Stipends
Better Health Together (BHT) is offering $4,500 grant-writing stipends for community based organizations applying for regional, state, or federal funding. To request funds, organizations must identify a specific grant opportunity that they want to pursue in 2026. This can include private or public funding (local, state, or federal).

BHT is offering $5,000 grant-writing stipends for Community-based organizations currently applying for regional, state, or federal funding. Learn more and apply!
The Better Health Together Behavioral Health Forum approved $45,000 of funding to offset lost billable hours. These dollars provide direct payments to member organizations to replace income lost when staff members are engaged in training that prevents them from billing for their time.
