Back to School Resource Fair

The Central Valley School District (CVSD) Student and Family Engagement Center serves as a community hub – providing social, emotional, academic, medical, mental health, nutritional and basic services to children, youth, parents and families who live in Central Valley. The “SAFE Center” has a food and clothing bank, laundry room, technology room and a family room. We also support an Annual Back-to-School Resource Fair that provides our students the opportunity to access free school supplies and a backpack, a fresh haircut, sports physicals, and more. 

In collaboration with many other community partners, CVSD and the SAFE Center are excited to hold the 5th Annual CVSD Back-to-School Resource Fair on August 12th, 2025 at University High School! We expect to host over 30 different community members & vendors showcasing their organizations and providing vital resources for families and students. 

We would like to invite your organization to participate as one of our important community partners at the Back to School Resource Fair this year! It will be held on Tuesday, August 12th, with the event time from 2pm-6pm. Vendors will set up between 12:30-1:30. We would ask you to provide information on your organization and the resources it is able to provide to families. If you have any “swag” we would invite you to bring that as well to distribute. This is such a fun event for our families every year, and we hope you are able to join us! 

Our goal is to help at least 1,000 students start the school year successfully!
