In partnership with Dr. Johnson of the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, we are excited to offer this workshop as part of BHT's topical trainings this year.
This session offers an in-depth, interactive introduction to treating trauma using cognitive behavioral-based evidence-based approaches. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of how to assess and treat trauma with an overview on several evidence-based treatments for trauma. This session, which integrates theory and practice, also focuses on adaptations to match client presentation, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status and treatment setting.
