This series led by Dr. Darryl Tonemah will help communities learn and understand about trauma and stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Darryl Tonemah is an American Indian counseling psychologist of Kiowa, Comanche, and Tuscarora descent. He has three bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Gerontology; a master's degree in Community Counseling; and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and Cultural Studies.
Dr. Tonemah has been published numerous times for his work in diabetes and has been featured in textbooks, magazines, newspapers, tv and radio programs around the country for his efforts in health, education, wellness, and entertainment. He is currently the CEO of Tonemah Consulting Group, and First Nations Telehealth Solutions.
