Community Sponsorships

Better Health Together supports community based organizations in our region by sponsoring events and community engagement activities that promote community wellness and elevate community voices in Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Lincoln, and Adams counties and the Reservations of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, the Spokane Tribe of Indians, and the Colville Confederated Tribes.

What we fund

BHT funds community events that support health and wellness. Examples include:

We do not fund

  • Operational expenses
  • Conference activities
  • Fundraising activities or fundraising events

BHT commits to funding organizations and events that are:

  • Aligned with BHT’s mission to radically improve the health and wellbeing of the region
  • Serving communities experiencing the highest levels of health disparities and barriers to accessing health or wellness resources
  • Located in or primarily serving under-resourced geographic areas
  • Focused on improving access to information, services, or supports that promote community wellness

For purposes of this program, Better Health Together focuses on organizations serving communities with demonstrated unmet health or social service needs, including medically underserved areas, rural or geographically isolated communities, or populations experiencing barriers to care, based on objective service gaps or public health data.
