Meet with a BHT Navigator
A BHT Navigator will walk you through the Basic Food application.

Submit your application
After you complete your application, you and your Navigator will submit the application to DHS.

DHS will contact you to interview
Once your application is submitted, someone from the Washington Department of Human Services (DHS) will be in contact with you to schedule an interview. Interviews can be done over the phone or in person.Â
