Director of Special Finance Projects

About Kim

Kim was raised by a single mom, mainly in a small rural community in Eastern Washington, and is grateful to the teachers and others who encouraged her to go to college. She graduated from WSU with a BA in Finance in 1990 and earned her CPA license in 2011. Kim has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience and has served on various Boards, including for organizations that serve women, children, and families. Kim has a unique understanding of the needs of families and the value of the public safety-net programs, not only through her Board service but also because her family was a recipient of these programs when she was a child. Kim loves spending her free time with her family and friends. She enjoys spending time in the sun, whether it is going for a walk, a bike ride, a slow paddle in a kayak, or just laying in the sun reading a good book.
