Ryan grew up in a rural community and witnessed firsthand the health inequities affecting his neighbors. After working in schools in Northeast Spokane, Ryan saw the barriers to care, unstable housing, and chronic health issues facing many students and families. Motivated to drive change, he pursued a Master of Public Health Leadership at Eastern Washington University, where he deepened his understanding of systemic issues. Ryan is passionate about using community feedback to shape BHT’s initiatives and ensure that every person has the opportunity to live a healthy life. Outside of work, Ryan loves being a father and partner, treasuring time with his family.
