Grant funding: Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC)

SAMHSA is now accepting applications for grants to expand the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model

Application Due May 17 for both

Two grants:

  • Planning, Development, and Implementation (CCBH-PDI) – Info / Webinar

  • Improvement and advancement grants (CCBH-IA) – Info / Webinar


Certified Peer Counselor trainings

We’re so excited to support two CPC training sessions specifically for our region.  
For local candidates who would like to be in the April 25-29 or October 3-7 class:

  1. ASAP get application into HCA & complete their online pre-reqs (9 online modules). Everyone has to work through this process with HCA. Application: https://fortress.wa.gov/hca/peercounseling/

  2. At the same time contact Helen Harding at Passages [email protected] or 509-892-9241 and indicate they want in either the April or October class. When Helen checks the HCA approved list, those candidates will be listed and we can choose them.

   
Free Infant-Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) trainings

In April and May, HCA is offering training that provides an introduction to the DC:0-5™, the developmentally appropriate tool for mental health assessment for young children.
