Provider Support Webinar 05/06/20
Notes & Agenda
Introduction to Beacon Health Options
Slides
Thank you for attending our Provider Support Webinar today. I have added the notes from the meeting to the agenda. I also attached Beacon’s presentation and a pdf copy of an e-mail all of you should have received from Beacon as an introduction to Beacon Health Options and how they will be support the MCO’s and providers with the Behavioral Health Supplemental Data.
There are a couple of important notes from the meeting to call out.
The HCA has asked the MCO’s to provide details on the providers readiness to submit the BH data. Beacon will be sending a Provider Readiness Survey to assess the BHSD data submission readiness. This survey also provides an opportunity to give good contact information for Beacon and MCO’s.
If you have any questions or concerns you can reach out to Beacon using their contact e-mail WABHSD@beaconhealthoptions.com.

Thank you for attending our webinar on BH Supplemental Data last Thursday. Attached are the minutes from the meeting. Please note that HCA is still working on BHDS Data Guide 3.1 updates. Please keep checking the HCA website at https://www.hca.wa.gov/billers-providers-partners/behavioral-health-recovery/contractor-and-provider-resources#for-bhos for updates.
There were some questions regarding the BHDS provider data collection tool to collect the supplemental data. You can find the tool on the HCA website https://www.hca.wa.gov/sites/default/files/providertool.xlsx.
As always feel free to contact the MCOs in the following ways:
BHAs can submit questions/concerns at any time and they will be reviewed weekly by the joint-MCO group.
MCOs will be outreaching to any BHA who reports not being ready for support.

Message from MCOs, 12/20/19
Thank you all for joining this Wednesday’s webinar (webinar notes) and sharing your questions and concerns. MCOs will be reviewing all of your questions and putting together resources to better support this project and it’s implementation. MCOs will be sharing these resources and responses to your questions in future webinars and in-between webinars as new/important information is available. Please review some of the key highlights from Wednesday’s webinar:
Providers have 3 options for raising questions/concerns and request support from MCOs:
Submit through our joint-MCO survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PQRJQS6
Share/Type in your questions via our Provider Support Webinars
Contact a MCO’s provider relations staff
Attached to this email are the latest tools and resources MCOs have available:
The HCA’s excel spreadsheet that providers can use to collect data in lieu of an EHR or other system (PEP-Data-Backup-File)* - updated version provided 1/2/20
The HCA’s latest FAQ on BH Supplemental Data
* MCOs are expecting updated data guides and an updated HCA’s spreadsheet tool, those will be shared with everyone as soon as they are released.
A new webinar will be scheduled soon so be on the lookout for that.
Thank you,
Amerigroup, CHPW, Coordinated Care, Molina, United
