Board Approves Funding for CDP/SUDP Certification

Better Health Together continues to support initiatives to increase whole person care in our region. One of the barriers we have continued to hear from our Partners is the difficulty of an insufficient workforce. Our Board of Directors fully supported a proposal to offer organizations tuition reimbursement for staff who complete the “Alternative Training for Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP/SUDP) Certificate” in 2020.  BHT will support 10 rural and 10 Spokane placements into the program offered by Spokane Falls Community College with the requirement that the employee commit to remaining with the requesting agency for a minimum 12 months.  If you have any questions or would like to take advantage of this opportunity please contact Charise Pope at  charisse@betterhealthtogether.org
