DOH Health Equity Zones Community Workgroup
The Health Equity Zones Initiative supports community-driven efforts to advance the health and well-being of communities in Washington most impacted by inequities.
The purpose of the HEZ Community Workgroup is to shape how the HEZ Initiative is implemented and ensure lived experiences and community expertise are centered in the process.
The HEZ Community Workgroup has open membership and meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday from 1 – 3 pm, so you are welcome to join as it works for you. Financial incentives will also be provided to participants.
The goals for this meeting are to build relationships with Community Workgroup members, establish an understanding of the HEZ Initiative, and provide feedback on the HEZ workplan.
The Spokane Tribe Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is excited to announce their 2022 Health, Wellness, and Career Fair scheduled Thursday, July 28, 2022.
To attend as an attendee, no registration required and this event is free for all ages. Lunch provided. And there will be many resources available focusing on personal and community health and wellness, and resources for local employment. There will also be opportunities to win some fabulous door prizes.
