American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Lowers the Cost of Health Insurance for Most Washingtonians

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was enacted in March 2021 and includes changes impacting health care affordability, coverage access, and other federal assistance through Washington Healthplanfinder.

Beginning May 6, Washingtonians qualify for more cost assistance to reduce premiums for health plans sold through the Washington Healthplanfinder!

Request for Proposals: Telehealth Access

We’ve released a Request for Proposals (RFP) inviting applications from contracted partners connected to or providing behavioral health services for projects that will help reduce barriers for patients accessing telehealth behavioral health services during COVID-19. Individual awards of up to $20,000 per partner are available until the $300,000 available is expended. Learn more and apply by April 16th priority funding deadline!

BHT Serving as Regional Hub for Care Connect Washington

BHT facilitates support for Adams, Ferry, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, and Stevens counties through the pandemic by providing community-based care coordination for individuals who need to quarantine in our COVID-19 Care Coordination role with Washington (DOH). The Care Connect program, which launched today, will help individuals and households overcome barriers and circumstances that make it difficult for them to complete isolation and quarantine successfully.

Press Release: $2 Million Investment from Cambia Health Solutions will Bolster Behavioral Health in Rural Communities

Washington’s nine Accountable Communities of Health (ACHs) have received $2 million from Cambia Health Solutions to address the urgent mental and behavioral health needs in rural communities intensified by COVID-19. The funds will be distributed across the ACHs, and each organization will disperse the dollars based on the needs in their region.
